About the Coach

Meet Donald A. Somerville

I’ve spent over three decades helping people grow as a coach, consultant, educator, and leader.

I partner with Black men who are carrying a lot and want a trusted voice to help them think, decide, and move forward with strength and wisdom.

My coaching background is in transformational and ontological coaching, and for more than 30 years I’ve worked with families as a fatherhood practitioner.

My point of view is simple: Black men benefit most when other Black men support them. That’s why I don’t have clients. I partner with other Black men. Partnership makes the difference.

This work is personal. It’s purposeful. And it’s built on respect.

    We start with a confidential 45-minute conversation to understand where you are, what’s heavy, and what you want next.

  2. 2. Coaching Partnership

    If we move forward, we meet regularly, one-on-one over Zoom, to clarify vision, address obstacles, and build momentum. Partnerships run 6 weeks, 3 months, or 6 months.

  3. 3. Sustained Growth

    You gain tools, perspective, and accountability that extend beyond the sessions.
